Interview Dilemmas

kimpaguirre

Hi everyone! I will be soon graduating from the University of Houston and I couldn't be more excited. Of course with such opportunity comes responsibility such as looking for a full time job. I've managed to interview with many companies now. Some which have already rejected me and to others that have said nothing. I believe that potentially my approach might not be what the interviewer is looking for or that I should be more assertive to get a result I want to hear. I do think that times have changed and now jobs are different from pre-pandemic ways. Job postings and jobs are different as well. Is it in the interviewee or the interviewer to set the steps further in the interview? Or should the interviewee pursuit them until they get a response?
